The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a German speaking graduate. You will initially start in our UK office in either London or Windsor for approximately 6 to 12 months of learning about Record as an organisation, our products and services and become an integral part of our Reporting team.

As a Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in taking responsibility for supporting and facilitating the team to provide a high quality reporting service on all client portfolios. The Reporting team together are responsible for producing reports for internal distribution as well as regular monthly reports to be distributed to clients across all product types, reconciling performance and utilising technology to generate improvements to reporting.

As part of your development we will discuss a progression path with you, which will include opportunities to work in Europe, specifically in Switzerland, the Netherlands and Germany, in operational, investment and more client facing roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • External Reporting - Produce reports for clients and their representatives. These include reports on performance, valuations, transactions, cash flows and exposures at daily, weekly and monthly frequencies
  • ​Internal Reporting - Compile reports on performance and risk. Reports focus on the performance of funds and strategies, and the risk in terms of cash, mark-to-market and counterparty exposures
  • Data Management - Capturing various types of data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, to be uploaded into Record’s internal databases, exploration and validation of data from various sources and connecting to existing data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence tools
  • Technology - Training and development on various technologies used by the team (e.g. Power BI, Xceptor, in-house tools) to support production of reports.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, works well both in a team and independently
